Our high school program is hiring two (2) JV Assistant Coaches for our high school team(s).

Currently, we have Varsity, Junior Varsity and will be adding a "C" level team.

Duties and Responsibilities

JV Assistant Coach: Offense
- will monitor & coach the physical and mental aspects of the game
working on the offensive side of the ball. Needs are offensive line
player development (footwork, blocking techniques, responsibilities,
etc.) Making sure the o-linemen don't fall into bad mental or physical
habits.

Offensive Linemen include: Center, Guards & Tackles

The JV offensive line coach has the authority over his player personnel, positions, and player development.

This position reports to the Varsity Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and JV Head Coach

JV Assistant Coach: Defense
- JV assistant coach will monitor the physical and mental aspects of the
defensive side of the ball. Needs are a linebackers coach who works
exclusively with the linebackers. He works on individual technique (run
stopping, gap control, pass rushing, and so on) and whatever shades or
stunts the defensive coordinator wants from the linebacker position.

Linebackers include: Inside linebackers & Outside linebackers

In addition, the linebackers coach generally has a solid understanding of the team’s defensive running & passing game scheme & objectives. He and the defensive coordinator should spend time discussing what run & pass defensive plays may work, depending on what the linebacker coach views as his unit’s strengths and weaknesses against the upcoming opponent.

The JV linebackers coach has the authority over his player personnel, positions and player development.

This position reports to the Varsity Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator and JV Head Coach

Skills/Requirements

- Experience coaching football at the high school level.
- Experience coaching the defensive side of the ball.
- Experience working with high school level or above student-athletes.
- Mindful in teaching and mentoring high school student-athletes about
the game of football and fostering values that will continue after the
game of football.
- Good character, values and mentorship skills.
- Trustworthy, confident and a team player.
- Willingness to support & promote the program's values, objectives &
goals.
